She takes in unwanted lepers and women abandoned in brothels; she kills forest gods. Probably one of my favorite Ghibli characters of all time. Nobody has made an antagonist so villainous and sympathetic quite as well as Miyazaki with Lady Eboshi.

Honestly, though I love San and Nausicaa, Lady Eboshi is such a compelling, complicated, kickass character. She takes in unwanted lepers and women abandoned in brothels; she kills forest gods.
